New Master WindowBlinds Skin: Atheros
The latest Master WindowBlinds skin from LightStar is Atheros. It is based in Greek architecture, and he did a fantastic job using that to build a skin around it. As always, attention to detail was paid greatly and overall it’s just a really cool skin to have. It was designed for Windows 8 and Windows 7, and also includes a wallpaper and ObjectDock tile.

What’s New on WinCustomize
WinCustomize and other Stardock related sites were down most of yesterday due to a big server issue. We were able to get mostly everything restored last night and I think with the exception of forum avatars, everything should be in working order today. If not, please let me know.

They have always been what I personally prefer as they don’t really interfere with the desktop, and overall I just like clean designs. ShadowFX Gallery on WinCustomize Now Open!
This week we released a new customization app called ShadowFX. This allows you to add customizable drop shadows to windows in Windows 8. The ShadowFX gallery on WinCustomize is now open, so people can now create their own shadows and share with others to download and use.
I will have an article up soon on how to create a shadow, but it’s actually very simple. It’s just the graphic files and editing the theme.sfx file. Take a look at the default shadow in the ShadowFX...![]()
