WinCustomize has a Facebook page where people can come and give us a “like”.  I try to keep the FB page updated with WC news and featured skins to make WinCustomize seen by a wider group.  We have some fantastic skins here, so any way we can help share and promote them is a good thing.

A new beta of WindowFX 4 is available on Impulse for Object Desktop subscribers.  WindowFX 4 is a new application which brings cool animations and functionality to the Windows interface.

Every few years we have a community project to put together a “graffiti” style wallpaper where every member of the community can place their tag on a wallpaper, which will be uploaded on WC for everyone to download.  We have kicked off the 2011 version and want to invite everyone to participate.  This is not just for skinners, this is for any member of the WinCustomize community.

We have our own forum threads and gallery allowing you to post screenshots to show off those cool desktops you spent time putting together, but there are other places you can post them to show others.

My personal favorite is the Lifehacker Desktop Show and Tell group on Flickr.  They often pick the best ones and feature them on the site.  It’s also fun to browse through and see how others are customizing their desktops, and the tools they are using to do it.
